Example 1 — bet on team A to win (৳200)
Decimal 2.25 = Fractional 5/4 = American +125. If the bet wins, total return is ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 stake). If the bet loses, ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — team B is the favourite (৳200)
Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. American minus odds mean — you need to bet ৳400 to win ৳100. On a ৳200 bet, if it wins the total return is ৳250 (৳50 profit).
Odds multiply in a multi bet. Three bets with odds 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.90 = 4.26. On a ৳100 bet, if all selections are correct the return is ৳426 — but if one loses, the entire bet is gone.

Once a match starts, odds change from moment to moment. Live betting lets you take advantage of those shifts.
Odds change when wickets fall
When wickets fall quickly, the batting team's odds lengthen. There is uncertainty while a new batsman settles in. At that point, backing the fielding team can be available at a lower price.
Pressure bets in the final overs
